Open Door HR Solutions, LLC, was founded by HR Consultant Mark Weaver, with the conviction that HR can be done in a different way – a way that empowers managers and involves employees. Open Door HR Solutions focuses on values-driven employers. We take the concept of “Open Door” and apply it to all facets of the employer-employee relationship. We provide strategic Human Resources consulting, tools, and education designed to create collaborative, direct, and open relationships between employers and employees.

Mark Weaver is a Senior Professional in Human Resources – a designation conferred by the Human Resource Certification Institute. His HR experience spans several industries and types of organizations. He has lead HR departments at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and Poudre Valley Health System and served in an HR management capacity at General Mills Restaurants (now Darden Restaurants). During the last 10 years he privately consulted with larger employers and held leadership and executive positions in the outsourced HR industry focusing on small to medium-sized companies.

In the late 1980s Mark had the privilege of being the HR Manager at Philip Crosby Associates – the largest consulting company in quality management at that time, founded by quality guru and best-selling author Phil Crosby.  While at PCA, Mark created HR strategies, such as performance management and incentive compensation that fit with Crosby's philosophies.  This ultimately led to opportunities to consult with PCA clients on some of these HR strategies.  The experience working at PCA shaped Mark's approach to both HR and consulting.
 
Throughout his career, Mark has created successful HR programs that have won state and national awards, been featured in local and national press, and have generated opportunities for him to speak at national conferences and to testify before Congressional subcommittees.
